Orders can be placed online: www.swischoolwear.co.uk . Orders can also be placed by telephone 0845 519 0099, by post or by fax using the order form on the SWI website. You can have your items delivered to school for free or to your home address for a small charge. If you choose to have them sent to school, please come to the school office to collect. If you order to the school during the holidays, this will not be available to collect until September.
Any purchased items not from SWI MUST be the same as those detailed and available from SWI as all students must come to school dressed smartly and in the correct uniform. This provides students with a sense of professionalism and enables them to be easily identifiable to our Trust/schools.
We have a dress code at The Galfrid School which we encourage all children to follow. The expectation for pupils is:
Grey school trousers, grey shorts or grey skirt
In summer: as above, or white and pale blue school dress
For all:
White polo shirt
Dark grey jumper
Black school shoes
We ask that, for safety reasons, children do not wear jewellery other than one pair of plain ear studs.
PE Games and Swimming
To ensure children get the most from their PE lessons it is important that they are dressed appropriately. School PE Kit is as follows:
For swimming, children will need a swimsuit. Hair will also need to be tied back.
Every child should have black shorts, a white t-shirt and a pair of plimsolls. It is useful to have a warm tracksuit and trainers as PE takes place throughout the year and we are outside as much as possible. PE kit should be kept in a bag which is clearly labelled with the child’s name.
All school clothes, bags and footwear need to be clearly labelled to ensure children end the day with the same outfit they started with.
Hair should always be tied back. All jewellery should be removed, including earrings.
