The Galfrid School PTFA has a new committee and is looking for volunteers!
We are a group of parents interested in creating a sense of community for our school and contributing towards the education of our children. Join us and be part of it! By giving a few hours of your time to help at any of the meetings or events below, you are helping raising funds for activities, events, school trips, equipment, etc, getting to know other parents, and having fun while being part of this community.
Monday 29th April, 7 pm - PTFA meeting
Thursday, 23 May, 2pm - May Fair setup
Monday 24th June, 7pm - PTFA meeting
Thursday, 18 July, 5.30pm - School Disco setup
Tuesday, 23rd July, 8.30am - Leavers Breakfast setup
Besides fundraising, the PTFA also keeps up to date with what is happening with the academisation, discusses general issues that affect the school with the management team and contributes with ideas for activities that can further develop the education of our children.
Be the change you want to see and feel proud of what we can achieve together!

Committee members get together in the Community Wing to plans ways to promote community spirit and raise funds through a wide range of social events. All members are welcome to join these meetings. We also aim to listen to parents and communicate their concerns to the school leadership. We are always looking for ways to support the school and our children's education, and to make a positive difference to the future of The Galfrid School.
Please contact us if you are able to contribute any time to support our events...every little bit helps!
